Whatcha think?

I bought the letters for Little Girl's room. :) Since the wall is pink, I decided to paint the letters green and decorate them in pink. I thought I would alternate polka dots and stripes. Here is one of the dot letters. Don't let the fact that it is capital fool you into thinking it's the first letter, all the letters are capital. :) I actually didn't want them all capital, but when I went to go get them, that is all they had, and I was so excited about getting them started, I didn't want to go try another store. SOOOOOO they are all capital, but when I lay them all out together, I really like it.



I still need to touch up the lighter color pink, and the rings are actually a different color than the small dots, it just doesn't look it in the picture.

35 Weeks

In 4 1/2 weeks (if not before) I will be holding my little baby girl! I am sooo ready! I keep looking at all of the clothes and try to picture her in them. I wonder what she will look like. I imagine her looking like Tommy, but I realize I could end up with a baby with darker hair and eyes. Either way, she will be beautiful! I really can't wait to see her. I'm kind of over the "I'm so sick of being pregnant" stage and am now in the "I can't wait to meet my daughter" stage.

Stuff

Well, let's just face it. I am not going to have daily pictures. I just don't think about it...... at least until little girl gets here. Then there will be tons of pictures I am sure! :)

I went to the hospital today to fill out all of my paperwork. I can't believe we are at that point already. We are all registered and ready to go. Now all we need is a baby! :)

I ended up going to the hospital on Sunday. I mentioned in my last post that at my Dr. apt, I had protein in my urine. Saturday night and all of Sunday my feet and legs were pretty swollen, so I decided to take my blood pressure. It was a bit high, nothing serious, but higher than normal. I called the Dr. and she suggested I go get monitored just in case. So I got to lay in a very cool hospital room for an hour listening to my baby's heartbeat. It was actually very very relaxing. I loved it! My blood pressure ended up being just fine, and baby was all good too. She was sooo active during the stress test. I did end up being a little bit dehydrated, although I don't know how because I feel like I drink water all day long. The only thing I can think is I am constantly hot and sweating, even when I'm not doing anything. I think I am getting a glimpse of what menopause feels like!! UHG!! :P

33 Week apt

I had my 33 week apt today. This was the 3rd appointment that my weight has been the same. Woo Hoo! Everything looked good except there was protein in my urine. My blood pressure was ok, so for now I guess everything is alright. We just need to watch that. 6 1/2 weeks to go!

~ 8 weeks to go. Just so you know!

~ Saturday we spent the day at Clinton Lake fishing. Like, the entire day. We even took our little grill and ate grilled hot dogs, and surprisingly, I didn't hate it. I was sure I would be ready to leave after the first hour due to the heat, but I was able to put my chair in the lake and have my feet in the water, and that was really nice. I enjoyed the sun while reading magazines and watching my bobber. We eventually left that evening because I was becoming concerned with the SNAKES that were trying to sneak up on my children.....

~ Yesterday I spent ALL day cleaning.... Yeah that's right. I took full advantage of Hubby being home to help with stuff I don't like doing, and managed to get the house looking pretty decent. My feet were way swollen by the end of the day, but the house is in order and just needs the everyday upkeep.

~ I don't have a menu this week because my brain isn't functioning and I can't think past today. Hopefully my mind will come back to me eventually.

~ I am still looking for way cute butterfly decorations. I haven't really been actively looking, but I need to. I also would LOVE to find baby green material/curtains with butterflies on them. The other day when I was in the baby's room, I actually thought to myself, "WOW this is A LOT of pink!!" I love it, but we may need to throw another color in there to offset. :)

~ Trent's baseball games start this week. This is his first year of sports and so far he has liked it at practice. I just hope he continues to like it.

~ I only have two 2 week appointments with my OB and then it's every week. Did I mention this baby will be here in 8 weeks (if not before.....)!?!?!?

Don't have a lot to say, but I need to blog more.....

~ Just over 9 weeks until baby day. 9 weeks. That's not very long at all. This pregnancy has FLOWN by!

~ We brought home a project last weekend and I have been hesitant to blog about it because we aren't sure what we are doing with it yet. I will say tho, there is absolutely NO room in our garage, and there won't be for quite time.

~ I am so thankful to see the sunshine! Rain is good and all, but I really need to see the sun every once in a while.

~ I'm still on the look out for some butterfly decorations. I did find a way cute switch plate at Babies R Us, and they have a matching night light and hook, but I can't see paying $15 for them.

~ My little boy will be 4 in three weeks. Wow.

Things I am looking for.......

We are really getting ready for baby around here. Her room is all painted (pics to come soon.....), and clothes are washed and put in the dresser all ready to go. Yesterday we spent a good deal of time rearranging our bedroom to make room for the co-sleeper. We have a bigger bed than when we had Tommy, so we weren't quite sure how to do it so that it's not all crowded. I'm not 100% happy with where the bed is now, but it will work.

There are a few things I am looking for for baby's room that if you happen to see them, let me know where.

1)A Butterfly light switch plate. I have looked and found some, but they aren't what I am looking for. My ideal one would be baby green with a pink butterfly on it, although I'm not OVERLY picky, I would just like it to go with the other stuff.

2)A basket wall shelf. My friend found one when she had her baby at a thrift store for cheap and I WANT IT!!!!! It has 3 baskets just big enough for hair bows, socks or what not and a little shelf. I believe it even has pegs underneath it.

3)Butterfly decorations......I love butterflies! :)

I am getting so excited for her to get here!! It has just hit me in the last few days. I assume it's because the room is all done and clothes are all ready. EEEEEEEE!!!! :)

93 days

Until baby girl gets here. WOAH! I just noticed today that I was under 100 days, and I am a whole WEEK under 100!! Time is flying by! I can't wait! :) Oh AND I am officially in my 3rd trimester. My baby is aprox. 15.3 inches long. Trent was 19 inches when he was born, and Tommy was only 18! I have short babies! :) Trent was born almost 2 weeks after my due date, and Tommy was born 1 week before.

Hubby had the day off today, so we decided it would be a good day to work on the baby's room. We cleared it out, and started with the primer. That room was REALLY REALLY blue, so we have finished our second coat of primer and getting ready to put on a 3rd. Then we get to start the PINK!! :) I can't wait. Pics will hopefully be up later tonight! :)

IT'S A GIRL!

I can't believe it. This has been a day of pure joy! I am so thankful!

Today started off pretty mellow. I was feeling pretty good. We got Trent off to school and hung around the house for a bit, and then dropped Tommy off with Joy. We stopped to get a coffee because I wanted to make sure the baby was awake and moving around so she wouldn't be sleeping with her legs crossed or something! Which by they way, I should have had coffee earlier because she didn't wake up until after the apt! We got there and sat in the waiting room. Talk about anxiety! I was so nervous. She called us in and right away asked if we were finding out the sex. Ummmmm YES!!!!!!!! She was awesome and went right for the goods. She said "What do you have at home again??" I said 2 boys.............. then she said 'Hmmm well 1, 2, 3 lines ITS A GIRL!!!!!!!" AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I literally put my hands over my face and screamed!!! I could not believe it. I said ARE YOU SURE! She checked again and was like pretty sure! Then she checked the heart, kidneys and head and did a bunch of measuring and said everything looked great. So then I asked her to check again. HAHAHHAHA She did! And it was still a girl! :)

After that I saw my Dr. She didn't have a whole lot to say, just that everything looked really good! Blood pressure was good and, added bonus, I only gained 1/2 pound last month. WOOHOO. That brings my total to 2.5 pounds in 5 months. Score!! I was almost more shocked at my weight than I was the baby. The past 2 weeks I have eaten like a pig. I finally, after 4 1/2 months felt like eating, and was starving! I was expecting a good 5 pound gain, but nope just 1/2 a pound. :) What a good day!

The big day

is tomorrow. I got to thinking last night about it. I am so wrapped up in what the sex of the baby will be, I have sort of lost sight of the actual point of this sonogram. They like to do sonos at 20 weeks because the baby is big enough to check all of the organs and parts to make sure they are forming correctly. I have been praying every night for a healthy baby, and I can't wait to see her/him on the screen. :)

Where does the time go?

I can't believe it is March already! 1 more week until I get to find out what my baby is! I can't wait!!!! Up until this last week, this pregnancy has FLOWN by. Next Monday I will already be HALF WAY DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It seems like just a couple weeks ago I announced I was pregnant at church. I was almost 5 weeks then. Now I am almost 20. I can't wait to find out what the baby is so I can start getting that room ready. I am very excited for that! I've picked out bedding and decorations for both. Pink and butterflies for a girl (please!!!!) and green and monkeys for a boy. I have names for both, but you don't get to know that until they actually get here! :)

I am very curious to see what this little person will look like. We are both very surprised how light Tommy is. Looking at pictures of me when I was little, he is almost and exact replica. I love it! We figured Hubby's darker features would be the most dominate. Nope! :)

16 Week apt.

I had my 16 week apt yesterday. I asked the dr if we could go ahead and schedule my c-section. On March 1st, Hubby's work has their vacation bids, so he wanted to know when he needed to get off. The big day is July 26th!!!! There's a chance I could go into labor before that, but I doubt it. It's strange having the day set that Peanut will definitely be here. The rest of the appointment went well. My blood pressure is good, and I gained almost 1 pound. We scheduled the big ultrasound for March 8th!! I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My day and a prayer request

I'm here, I just don't feel that great. The past few weeks have been rough, but I will get thru. The past week or so, I have been feeling some weird pressure and yesterday it seemed to get worse so I called my dr. They wanted to see me today. I went thinking that it was caused by a bladder infection, which I don't have, and I had to see someone other than my regular dr, which I don't like doing just because I feel really close to my regular dr. They did find that I do have another small infection, but the dr didn't think that would cause the pressure. When she went to check the heartbeat, she couldn't find it. She found it no problem two weeks ago, so I was a bit concerned. She said she was going to get another doppler that is for earlier in pregnancy and see if we could find it. Still nothing. She asked if my dr was able to hear it at my last appointment and I said yes. Her face kind of fell, and my heart sank. So she said off to get a sonogram to see if we could see the heartbeat. Needless to say, I was wreck. On top of that, I had to wait like 15 minuets for the sono tech to get done with another patient. One thing bad about me is my mind always goes to the worst possible outcome. UHG!

Long story short, she found a heartbeat, and a very wiggly baby. Praise God!! The sono tech was in a hurry and didn't look at anything else tho. So when I got home, the nurse called to tell me to come back Thursday if the pressure doesn't go away and they will take a look at the other stuff. So I'm not sure what is causing the pressure, so please pray that we can get it figured out.

12 week apt.

I had my 12 week apt today. Everything looks great. We Finally got to hear the heartbeat. It was in the 160s. That has got to be my favorite sound in the world. She/He was moving around a lot and it was hard for the Dr. to catch long enough to hear it, but we did! :) My blood pressure was great and I have only gained 1 pound. WoooHooooo!!!!! :D

10 weeks today

I am 1/4 of the way to meeting my new little one. Considering I was only about 3 1/2 weeks when I found out, this seems to be going by pretty fast. If you are wondering what my baby looks like/is doing check THIS out. It makes me excited! :)

Well, I'm pregnant :)

Yes I know most of you already knew that. :) I had my first OB appointment today. We didn't really do much besides the basics. She just mostly felt around. I asked her if it feels like a baby and she said "Well, it feels like a uterus with a baby in it!" Woohooo. I go back in 4 weeks and we will get to hear the heart beat then. I can't wait!! That is my most favorite sound in the whole world. It doesn't matter if it's my baby or not, when I hear that sound I get all teary. :)

Not much with the goings on

I don't really have much to blog about. My blog is boring in comparison to others I read. I just don't, much like real life, have much to talk about. I am trying to get laundry caught up from the weekend. Yes I realize it is Thursday and I have been home for four days, but in my defense on Tuesday I could not doing anything due to a horrible stiff, sore neck. I couldn't even move it. It was awful. It felt a little better yesterday so I went to get my hair did. We are getting family pictures taken next week, and I didn't really want skunk head going on.
Today my neck is feeling much better. I think it was all just from being in the car for so very long on Sunday, and the awkwardness of trying to sleep in the car.

Tonight is Trent's music program at school. I think he is pretty excited about it. That reminds me, I need to charge the camera battery.

How is everyone on Christmas shopping? I haven't done much. The past few years, Jason and I have picked a weekend day to drop the kids of with Grandparents and made a day of shopping together. I really look forward to that. Alot. It's hard for me not to shop before that, but I really enjoy spending that time together. Guess I need to talk to him about that because we are running out of time. :)
