Things I am looking for.......

We are really getting ready for baby around here. Her room is all painted (pics to come soon.....), and clothes are washed and put in the dresser all ready to go. Yesterday we spent a good deal of time rearranging our bedroom to make room for the co-sleeper. We have a bigger bed than when we had Tommy, so we weren't quite sure how to do it so that it's not all crowded. I'm not 100% happy with where the bed is now, but it will work.

There are a few things I am looking for for baby's room that if you happen to see them, let me know where.

1)A Butterfly light switch plate. I have looked and found some, but they aren't what I am looking for. My ideal one would be baby green with a pink butterfly on it, although I'm not OVERLY picky, I would just like it to go with the other stuff.

2)A basket wall shelf. My friend found one when she had her baby at a thrift store for cheap and I WANT IT!!!!! It has 3 baskets just big enough for hair bows, socks or what not and a little shelf. I believe it even has pegs underneath it.

3)Butterfly decorations......I love butterflies! :)

I am getting so excited for her to get here!! It has just hit me in the last few days. I assume it's because the room is all done and clothes are all ready. EEEEEEEE!!!! :)

93 days

Until baby girl gets here. WOAH! I just noticed today that I was under 100 days, and I am a whole WEEK under 100!! Time is flying by! I can't wait! :) Oh AND I am officially in my 3rd trimester. My baby is aprox. 15.3 inches long. Trent was 19 inches when he was born, and Tommy was only 18! I have short babies! :) Trent was born almost 2 weeks after my due date, and Tommy was born 1 week before.

My Hubby...

Yesterday Trent asked Hubby if he could go with him to work on Take Your Kid to Work Day. Hubby said that he couldn't because of all the machinery and all that isn't safe for kids. So Trent asked if he could just stay home with me. Hubby asked him if he was going to help out and clean and stuff, and Trent said noooooo. Then Hubby said that mommy doesn't just get to sit around and do nothing all day, she probably works harder than I do...... I almost cried. What a sweet thing to say. I am so glad he values what I do here and is also letting the kids know that what I do is important. :) Thank you Hubby for making me feel good.

Getting close!

Hubby had the day off today, so we decided it would be a good day to work on the baby's room. We cleared it out, and started with the primer. That room was REALLY REALLY blue, so we have finished our second coat of primer and getting ready to put on a 3rd. Then we get to start the PINK!! :) I can't wait. Pics will hopefully be up later tonight! :)

Let down

Well that was a waste of good chicken! The orange chicken just wasn't what I was expecting. It was kind of bla. Trent ate it pretty well. Tommy didn't. Hubby ate it but said he wouldn't ever ask for it, and I dumped a bunch of sweet and sour sauce on mine and ate it that way.

I also made baked crab rangoon. I was pleasantly surprised with them. They were good, and I will make those again!

Not so excited anymore...........

I was so excited to try my new Orange Chicken recipe tonight. The chicken has been in the crock-pot for about 3 hours and it's just not smelling that great.....I have a feeling I am going to be disappointed. Maybe I should leave the Chinese cooking to the Chinese people???

We shall see........

Spring has sprung

It's officially Spring. I found three spiders in my house. BLA. I hate those things. On a happier note, everything outside is beautiful.

Twenty Five

I am almost 25 weeks pregnant. Can you believe it? It seems like just a couple weeks ago we found out. This pregnancy has been SOOO different than the other two. I know they say they are all different, but the first two were pretty much the same, I just wasn't as freaked out with Tommy as I was with Trent because I knew what to expect. I don't know if it's because I am older now, but this pregnancy has drained me the entire time. Right now I am supposed to be in the feel good time of pregnancy, but I'm not, and I haven't been. I felt really really good for about the first 4 weeks and it's been down hill since then. I'm not complaining tho. I get my little girl!! :) It's just funny how different it is. I have so much enjoyed going thru pink clothes! I have been much blessed by awesome friends. I have received SOOO CUTE clothing by the bag fulls. I knew girl stuff was cute, but I had no idea it would be this much fun! I love every little outfit and can't wait to see our little girl in them!

Menu Plan Monday ~ Week of April 12

The fact that I have a menu this week is amazing to me. I have been so scattered lately, and have been eating out WAY to much! I am determined to stick to the menu this week. I have added 2 new things this week so I am excited about that.

Monday ~ Orange chicken, steamed rice, baked crab rangoon (I LOVE Chinese food, and this is my first attempt to try to make it at home and spare some calories (and cash!))

Tuesday ~ Hot roast beef sandwiches, mashed potatoes, brown gravy, carrots

Wednesday ~ Dinner at church. I am making spaghetti.

Thursday ~ Waffles, eggs, oranges

Friday ~ Left overs

Saturday ~ Grilled cheese, soup
