I'm here, I just don't feel that great. The past few weeks have been rough, but I will get thru. The past week or so, I have been feeling some weird pressure and yesterday it seemed to get worse so I called my dr. They wanted to see me today. I went thinking that it was caused by a bladder infection, which I don't have, and I had to see someone other than my regular dr, which I don't like doing just because I feel really close to my regular dr. They did find that I do have another small infection, but the dr didn't think that would cause the pressure. When she went to check the heartbeat, she couldn't find it. She found it no problem two weeks ago, so I was a bit concerned. She said she was going to get another doppler that is for earlier in pregnancy and see if we could find it. Still nothing. She asked if my dr was able to hear it at my last appointment and I said yes. Her face kind of fell, and my heart sank. So she said off to get a sonogram to see if we could see the heartbeat. Needless to say, I was wreck. On top of that, I had to wait like 15 minuets for the sono tech to get done with another patient. One thing bad about me is my mind always goes to the worst possible outcome. UHG!
Long story short, she found a heartbeat, and a very wiggly baby. Praise God!! The sono tech was in a hurry and didn't look at anything else tho. So when I got home, the nurse called to tell me to come back Thursday if the pressure doesn't go away and they will take a look at the other stuff. So I'm not sure what is causing the pressure, so please pray that we can get it figured out.

12 week apt.
I had my 12 week apt today. Everything looks great. We Finally got to hear the heartbeat. It was in the 160s. That has got to be my favorite sound in the world. She/He was moving around a lot and it was hard for the Dr. to catch long enough to hear it, but we did! :) My blood pressure was great and I have only gained 1 pound. WoooHooooo!!!!! :D

Random acts of Random-ness
~ Drive by about 120th street and Parallel, on the north side some has built an awesome snow polar bear. It is really neat, and we had to drive by it a few times!
~ I LOVE the idea that they are making pop with natural sugar. I tried Pepsi Throwback first. It has a bit of a diet taste for some reason, but it was still good. Then yesterday I found Heritage Dr. Pepper and was excited. Dr. Pepper is probably my favorite food-like product in the whole world, and was hoping that the natural sugar one would be just as good. Sadly to say, it wasn't. It had even more of the diet taste than the Pepsi did. And if you know me at all, you know that I don't do diet pop. Not even a little bit. Poop!
~ I am so over the snow. I love to look at it, but I hate the dirty slushy mess that comes with it. It is especially annoying for me because I am short and I don't have pants that fit. They are all too long, and drag in said dirty slushy mess. It seriously puts me in a bad mood.
~ Speaking of pants that are too long. My wonderful friend Shannon offered to hem my jeans! Woohoo!! That is something I am very much looking forward too.
~ I am really trying to stay neutral about the sex of my baby, but it is becoming really difficult for me. It doesn't help that I have crafty friends who make THESE, oh and THESE. Also I have been having a CRAZY amount of baby girl dreams. I could fool myself into thinking that these dreams mean something, but I know it's just because that is what I want. It's just knowing that this is the last baby and all.
~ I will be just fine if I have a boy, by the way. :)
~ I don't remember having this many food and smell aversions the last 2 pregnancies. Pretty much anything from Bath and Body works makes me sick. Hamburger, ham and tuna are way out. I really hope chicken doesn't become a problem. I don't want to be a vegetarian! I really like cinnamon toast tho. :) And, I've been drinking way more milk than before too.
~ I have my 12 week appointment tomorrow. 12 weeks. I can't believe I am 12 weeks already. It seems like we just found out.

Menu Plan Monday ~ Jan 4 -10
My brain doesn't work right now. Like, at all. I don't remember anything, and I can't think of anything. Ahh this too shall pass. I hope! :) I am keeping my menu easy this week because honestly, I'm tired and I can't think of anything better to fix. It took me forever just to get this accomplished yesterday.
Monday ~ Tater tot Casserole, corn and green beans (my kids won't eat corn)
Tuesday ~ Meat loaf, mashed potatoes, some sort of vegetable
Wednesday ~ Church ~ whoohooo! I've missed church, and not just because it saves me a cooking night, but it does :)
Thursday ~ Ham and Beans, corn bread
Friday ~ Potato soup
Saturday ~ This would have been my Grandpa's birthday, and he used to make this awesome stew every winter and would give it to everyone. So the plan is, my parents are going to come over and we are going to make a bunch of it.
Sunday ~ Probably leftovers..
Hope everyone has a great week! For more ideas, head on over to orgjunkie.com.

Bissell Steam Mop ~ A Love Story
Let me start off by saying, I. HATE. MOPPING......HATE IT!! I would rather do pretty much anything than mop. I have pets, and no matter how much I vacuum or sweep before hand, I still end up with wet hair smeared all over the floor. BARF!! Also, it seems as soon as I mop, the dog (or husband or kids) comes in with dirty feet and my nice floor is no more. So I don't mop very often. I don't like having dirty floors, but I HATE MOPPING!!!!!!!!
I have seen a few infomercials (yes I AM one of those people, who actually will sit and watch those things for a LONG time) with steam mops, and I thought "How cool are those?!?!" Then my friend Shannon, told me how much she loved her Bissell Steam Mop. I was a bit skeptical. I have bought several products that I thought would make me like cleaning, and they never do. I decided to try it anyway. My parents always give me money for Christmas, so I decided that is what I would spend my money on. I waited for about 3 weeks. I really wanted that mop. Then the day came to go get it, and I started thinking. Do I REALLY want to blow all of my Christmas money on a stinking mop?!? No. Yes, I have waited for it for weeks. NO, there are more exciting things I can buy with that money. Yes, I am getting the mop!
So I did. Was it worth spending my Christmas money on????
YES! I LOVE THIS MOP!!!!! I purposely let my floor get really dirty (that and I didn't want to mop it :) and went to town. My floor is soo clean and it was so nice to use. It even picks up the excess hair in stead of spreading it around. I love how it comes with washable pads so I don't have to spend extra money on disposable, AND you just use plain water, so no extra money on cleaner (although, I do like the sample Eucalyptus Mint scented water that came with it!). It is a little more than I would like to have spent on it, BUT I am so glad I did. I have used it a few times and LOVE it!!!! I would very enthusiastically recommend it!!!

Buffalo Chicken Dip
Forewarning ~ This is NOT healthy!! :)
I had this dip at a friend's house, and have been craving it on and off ever since. I finally called her up to get the recipe, and it is in the crock-pot as we speak.
1 package of cream cheese (don't bother with low fat, it isn't the same)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (I use sharp cheddar)
1 cup of Franks Red Hot Buffalo
1 cup of ranch dressing
2 large cans of chicken (you know, the stuff that somehow still smells like tuna???)
Throw it all in the crock pot and wait for the cream cheese and cheddar to get all melty and ENJOY!!! Great with Tortilla chips or even in a tortilla shell as a roll up.
