Music Monday
So yeah. I decided to go thru old CDs last night. It brought back some great memories. I found this CD which I forgot I had.......It made me happy!
I can't believe it's Monday again already..........
~I'm not sure where last week went, but I missed it. It was spring break, and we did a whole lot of nothing, which I am OK with. We did do some shopping and Jose Peppers on Thursday and Friday we went to the park to play. Trent found a quarter from the Dominican Republic and was VERY excited. He calls it his lucky quarter. Oh then there was the massive SNOW storm on the first day of Spring. Yee Haw! Bla. I am so over snow......
~I don't have much of a menu planned this week. Last night I made Alisa's Cheeseburger Casserole. I didn't eat any of it because I am still off of hamburger, but it was a huge hit with the rest of them. I think tonight we will have Chicken Tetrazzini. I made it a couple weeks ago for the first time and it was yummy. My kids even ate the mushrooms!!! Woohoo!
~We spent part of the weekend going thru stuff and moving stuff back into the basement. We took a bunch of stuff to Goodwill yesterday. It feels good to get that stuff out of here! We also played a game on our new Foosball table (thanks Jane D.!) and I kicked my Hubby's rear!! YAY me!! :)

Daylight Savings randomess
~ My first night of daylight savings was awful....... I was on Facebook wayyy to late chatting with an old friend until almost 2 (so like 3). I haven't stayed up that late in a while. Then after prying my sleeping hubby off of the couch, I got to bed and was drifting off to sleep, when it all started. I heard a cat scratching and meowing at the boys' door. Well that isn't normal. So I go out in the hall and he is literally trying to get under their door. hmmm So I opened it, thinking that maybe the other cat was in there. Nope. This stupid animal jumps on Trent's bed, meowing and going in circles. What the heck!?!? So, being me, I was all worried that something was wrong. This was not normal behavior for this cat. He rarely bothers us at night. So here I am all tired, half asleep, freaking out that my son is dying (rational much???). I got the cat off the bed, made sure Trent was breathing (he was), and got the cat out. He spent the next 2 hours meowing, pacing and chasing an invisible something around the house. At 4:30 am I was sitting on my couch crying because I was sooo tired and he just wouldn't stop. I thought about throwing him outside, but I really thought something was wrong, because he has never acted that way before..... UH
~ I spent a good portion of my day yesterday pestering a sleeping cat. He didn't bother me last night......
~ Saturday was a fun day. My father-in-law came early and picked the boys up and took them to the Snake Parade. Oh and he brought me cinnamon rolls, and they were good!! Jason and I stayed home with plans of getting stuff done. It's nice to have dreams........ While eating said cinnamon rolls, Stripes came on TV and we sat there, for 2 1/2 hours and watched it. Talk about a wasted morning!! I did get some laundry done, and he got a bit done in the basement, but nothing like what we wanted. My father-in-law was nice and took the boys to lunch. When they got home, we went to meet my friend, Kari and her family, for bowling and then to T-Rex for dinner. They took Trent to the motel with them so he could swim then brought him home.
~ Sunday wasn't a fun day. I was so so tired. Didn't make it to church..... My hubby let me sleep until noon, but it didn't really make me feel any better. I was so groggy all day and was just sick all day. I took a small nap, but didn't sleep to long because I wanted to make sure I slept last night. Kari's son came over to play while the rest of them went shopping, and then we all met up at Taco John's for dinner. They don't have one there, so they were much excited about it! :)
~ I have to mention my sweet husband. He made a Sheridan's run for me at 9:30 on Thursday night because "the baby" wanted ice cream. :) Isn't he the sweetest!?!

IT'S A GIRL!
I can't believe it. This has been a day of pure joy! I am so thankful!
Today started off pretty mellow. I was feeling pretty good. We got Trent off to school and hung around the house for a bit, and then dropped Tommy off with Joy. We stopped to get a coffee because I wanted to make sure the baby was awake and moving around so she wouldn't be sleeping with her legs crossed or something! Which by they way, I should have had coffee earlier because she didn't wake up until after the apt! We got there and sat in the waiting room. Talk about anxiety! I was so nervous. She called us in and right away asked if we were finding out the sex. Ummmmm YES!!!!!!!! She was awesome and went right for the goods. She said "What do you have at home again??" I said 2 boys.............. then she said 'Hmmm well 1, 2, 3 lines ITS A GIRL!!!!!!!" AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I literally put my hands over my face and screamed!!! I could not believe it. I said ARE YOU SURE! She checked again and was like pretty sure! Then she checked the heart, kidneys and head and did a bunch of measuring and said everything looked great. So then I asked her to check again. HAHAHHAHA She did! And it was still a girl! :)
After that I saw my Dr. She didn't have a whole lot to say, just that everything looked really good! Blood pressure was good and, added bonus, I only gained 1/2 pound last month. WOOHOO. That brings my total to 2.5 pounds in 5 months. Score!! I was almost more shocked at my weight than I was the baby. The past 2 weeks I have eaten like a pig. I finally, after 4 1/2 months felt like eating, and was starving! I was expecting a good 5 pound gain, but nope just 1/2 a pound. :) What a good day!
